The Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima statue was designed as Our Lady appeared in 1929 to Sr. Lucia in Tuy, Spain. It was during this apparition that Our Lady asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart.
The statue travels around the United States under the sponsorship of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA (formerly known as the Blue Army) whose mission is to spread the important message of Fatima.
It will visit the Diocese of San Bernardino August 4-26 at the following parishes:
High Desert Vicariate
August 11: Our Lady of the Desert, 18386 Corwin Rd., Apple Valley. Arrival at 7 a.m., departure at 7:30 p.m.
Riverside Vicariate
August 4: St. Matthew, 2140 W. Ontario Ave., Corona.
August 12: St. John the Evangelist, 3980 Opal St., Jurupa. Arrival at 6 a.m., departure at 9 p.m.
August 16: Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5250 Central Ave., Riverside. Arrival at 2 p.m., Divine Mercy at 3 p.m., farewell Mass at 7 p.m., departure at 9 p.m.
August 20: St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3680 Arlington Ave., Riverside.
August 22: Corpus Christi, 3760 N. McKinley St., Corona. Arrival at 8 a.m., departure at 8 p.m.
San Bernardino Vicariate
August 21: The Holy Name of Jesus, 115 W. Olive Ave., Redlands.
August 23: Our Lady of Hope, 6885 Del Rosa Ave., San Bernardino. Arrival at 2 p.m., departure at 8 p.m.
West End Vicariate
August 10: St. George, 505 N. Palm Ave., Ontario. All day with school children.
August 13: St. Paul the Apostle, 14085 Peyton Dr., Chino Hills. Arrival at 7 a.m., departure at 9 p.m.
August 15: St. Joseph, 877 N. Campus Ave., Upland. Arrival at 2 p.m., departure at 9 p.m.
August 26: Sacred Heart, 12704 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga. Arrival at 6 a.m., departure at 9 p.m.
