On the Solemnity of All Saints, Nov. 1, the faithful gathered at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery’s All Souls Chapel in Colton for a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Alberto Rojas. For this special feast, relics of saints were present for veneration, serving as a powerful reminder of the communion we share with those who have gone before us in faith. The diocesan relics present for veneration were St. Jose Sanchez del Rio, St. Carlo Acutis, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Bernardine, St. Benedict, and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati. During Mass, Bishop Rojas said, “This celebration reminds us that sainthood is not something of just the past but a call for all of us here in the present.” The Solemnity of All Saints Mass intentions are to remember the saints and martyrs who were servants of the Lord during their earthly lives and to ask that they pray for us to one day join them in heaven.
