On March 14, the Diocesan Office of Community Services and Outreach Programs within the Department of Life, Dignity and Justice, offered an “Exploring and Living Catholic Social Teaching” event at St. Christopher parish in Moreno Valley. The one-day workshop explored the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching: Life and Dignity of the Human Person, Call to Family, Community, and Participation, Rights and Responsibilities, Option for the Poor and Vulnerable, The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers, Solidarity, and Care for God’s Creation. The next workshop will be held August 8 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in La Quinta from 9 AM to 4 PM.
