The Challenge Hunger Campaign is not a fundraising campaign. It is a social media-based experience developed to raise the awareness of hunger that exists locally, nationally and globally.

Catholic Charities began hosting a seven-day online campaign to challenge hunger in local communities starting April 4. Challenge Hunger provides participants with unique and thoughtful opportunities to respond to local hunger through the use of social media by participating in simple daily challenges.

Beginning on April 4th (4-4-14), the daily challenges include: (Day 1) Photo Challenge, (Day 2) Empty Plate Challenge, (Day 3) Prayer Challenge, (Day 4) Give It Up Challenge, (Day 5) Random Acts Challenge, (Day 6) $4.50 Per Day Challenge, and (Day 7) Hunger Quiz Challenge.

During the campaign, followers receive directions on how to take part in these challenges. You can join Catholic Charities for this new and exciting approach of putting our faith in action by “liking” Catholic Charities on www.Facebook.com/ccsbriv.
