Residents of the Eastern Coachella Valley are considered a high-risk population for contracting coronavirus and so the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Mecca has stepped up with relief efforts in two important areas.
New church dedicated for Our Lady of Soledad Parish
COACHELLA—Parishioners of Our Lady of Soledad made the journey—literally—processing 1.3 miles from their old church on Oasis Palm Avenue to their brand new one on Cesar Chavez Street to celebrate its dedication on Dec. 7.
