The school expansion will continue next summer as building renovations allow for the opening of seventh and eighth grade classes as well as a state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) lab. Frazier is pleased to be a part of this progress and will encourage students to develop these skills under his tutelage.
Frazier and his wife, Margaret, have shown great dedication to St. Peter and St. Paul for many years, serving in the parish and school. Mrs. Frazier brought 30 years of teaching experience with her when she began teaching at St. Peter and St. Paul School four years ago. Chuck Frazier has served as a volunteer and a member of the School Advisory Board at St. Peter and St. Paul for several years.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University, and his Master of Arts in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Chapman University. He served six-and-a-half years in the United States Air Force at Satellite Test Center in Sunnyvale, Calif., and Hickam Air Force Base in Oahu, Hawaii, supporting America’s first Secret Spy Satellite Program and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance during his service.
Frazier spent the next 23 years as an industrial engineer in manufacturing, including the expansion of “Stinger” weapon systems for General Dynamics (GD). When General Dynamics was sold to another company out of state, Frazier chose not to relocate his family, thus beginning a career change from engineering to education. He completed his Teaching Credential and began teaching at El Camino Elementary School in the Ontario-Montclair School District.
During those 12 years, he taught the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. He was trained in LLIFE (Literacy and Learning In-service: 4th – 8th) and RAD (Reading Across the Disciplines) and earned his Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate (CLAD). He served as chairperson for a number of committees supporting advancements in technology and science curriculum. Upon completion of his Administrative Credential at Chapman University, Frazier was selected as Ontario-Montclair School District’s Project Administrator of After School Programs and assistant principal of Monte Vista Elementary School. His teaching and administrative experience will be a valuable asset to the St. Peter and St. Paul community as it continues to grow.
