 San Bernardino Aquinas High School and Riverside Notre Dame High School faced off in the annual Holy War football game on Sept. 20 at Jurupa High School, and the Falcons registered a resounding 29-0 victory.

 Aquinas showed impressive balance with seven quarterback sacks on defense and more than 350 yards total offense. Sione Lolohea notched three sacks to lead the Aquinas defense while Isaac Handy ran for two touchdowns to lead the offense. Notre Dame quarterback Dre Robles threw for 175 yards in a losing cause.

 The winner of the Holy War gets possession of the Shield, which now resides at Aquinas for the third straight year. Other high school sports embraced the annual rivalry as Girls Tennis and JV Football from both schools took part in the Holy War.
