At the same time they participate in presentations with nationally, sometimes internationally, renowned theologians and presenters, who allow them to update and continue their formation in the human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral areas.
This year the theme of the Convocation is “A Church With Open Doors.” This is in response to Pope Francis’ admonition that the Catholic faithful, led by priests, break from rote practices of faith to bring God’s love to the broken and needy of the world.
Presenters at this year’s Convocation will be Rev. Tom Rausch, SJ, and Rev.Stephan Bevans, SVD, among other renowned theologians and pastoral presenters. We ask all the communities to pray for your priests so that they live this time of grace and blessing with intensity.
