On April 11, The Diocesan Office of Community Services & Outreach held a special screening of the new movie, “No Address,” which is inspired by true events following the journeys of various individuals who are homeless. The screening, held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, was part of an initiative to raise awareness about homelessness. Sister Chilee Okoko, DMMM, Director of the Diocesan Department of Life, Dignity and Justice said she encourages all in the diocese to watch this movie in the hope to raise awareness about homelessness.

“The issue of homelessness has become a real matter of great concern, not only in San Bernardino but across the state of California,” Sr. Okoko said. “In this Jubilee Year, the emphasis has been on the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. We believe this is a good time to reignite in all of us that spirit of mercy, love, and compassion for the poor, the needy, the marginalized, and the suffering.”
