Vicar General Lopez blesses ultrasound machine at Fontana Pregnancy Clinic

On Nov. 14, Monsignor Gerard Lopez, Vicar General of the diocese, provided a special blessing over a newly donated mobile ultrasound machine at Fontana Assure Pregnancy Clinic. The Knights of Columbus (KoC) Fontana Council 3041, the Diocesan Department of Life, Dignity and Justice (LDJ), and the KoC Supreme Council in Connecticut worked together to process and raise the funds to bring this new machine to the clinic. Sister Chilee Okoko, D.M.M.M., Director of the LDJ Dept., was present at the blessing along with Fontana KoC members Ralph Segarra, Jaime Jinesta, Alex Castanon, CA Life Programs Director, and Joe Salaiz, former CA State Deputy. The donation came about after the clinic reached out to the Knights of Columbus in regard to its ultrasound program, as the clinic’s current mobile machine no longer worked.
