Running back Jojo Solis paced San Bernardino Aquinas High School’s relentless rushing attack enroute to a resounding 53-0 victory over Riverside Notre Dame High School on Sept 24.
Played at Aquinas, it was the fourth straight victory for the Falcons in the annual “Holy War” game. The victor in this annual matchup between the two Inland Catholic high schools takes possession of “the Shield.”
Solis helped Aquinas build an early lead with touchdown runs of nine and 11 yards. He added another short TD run before halftime and then broke the game open with a 77-yard scoring dash in the third quarter.
Kaden Willerford (rushing) and Marco Perez (interception return) were among the Aquinas players to find the end zone.
