Notre Dame High School wins RivCo Mock Trial

On Feb. 19, Riverside Notre Dame High School took first place in Riverside County’s 44th Annual Mock Trial competition. According to the Riverside County Office of Education, the future legal stars from local Riverside-area high schools concluded seven rounds of courtroom drama and competition with Notre Dame High School defeating Martin Luther King High School in the final round of the mock trial competition located at the Riverside Historic Courthouse. Notre Dame will now represent Riverside County at the California Mock Trial Competition on March 20-22 in Oakland. The state winner will advance to the National Mock Trial set for May 7-9 in Des Moines, Iowa. “I look forward to seeing Riverside County’s top team from Notre Dame High School compete for a state championship,” said Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edwin Gomez.
