On Sept. 13, the United States observed National Grandparents Day, a time to celebrate the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. Many Catholic schools in the diocese observed Grandparents Day by inviting and welcoming students’ grandparents to campus to celebrate Mass and partake in a reception. Students at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac High School, Temecula, and Holy Rosary Academy, San Bernardino, welcomed their grandparents for Mass and reception on Sept. 10. At St. Catherine of Siena School, Rialto, students welcomed their grandparents for hospitality on Sept. 11. Thank you to all grandparents who continually surround students with love, wisdom, and prayer.Â
