Parents face many challenges during their children’s growth years, from infancy to young adulthood and beyond. There are so many questions that arise in their daily lives. Parents are rushed to complete tasks at hand, sometimes pondering the questions, yet never having time to seek or resolve or to find the answers. In this all-day event, offered in English and Spanish, there is an opportunity to get the answers to many of these important questions.

The Summit, subtitled “Everything You Want To Know But Are Afraid to Ask,” makes available the time and place for parents to attend workshops/seminars targeting a variety of topics including:  preschool readiness; college entrance requirements; online safety; harassment;  awareness of social issues; faith formation and bullying.

Teens and preteens will be treated to age appropriate sessions to help them make better sense of today’s social messages. Younger children will be supervised in KidZones, one for ages three and four and another for ages 5 - 12. Children who are three and under must stay with a guardian or parent. There will be age appropriate activities in each area, plenty of supervision and organized check in and check out. Lunch will also be provided.

The Third Annual “Empowering Parent and Youth Summit” will again be held at Aquinas High School, 2772 Sterling Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30p.m. Families from both Riverside and San Bernardino counties are encouraged to take advantage of this FREE event. This event will provide a vendor zone with representatives from Catholic schools, colleges, trade schools, community organizations, non-profits, sports teams, restaurants and other entitles. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. There will be music, school displays and interactive exhibits.
