SAN BERNARDINO—While keeping its name, this year’s Youth Christian Leadership Training (YCLT) welcomed a new location and format. More than 130 high school students, representing 23 parishes, participated in the weeklong training June 16 – 20 at Aquinas High School in San Bernardino.

YUCAIPA—Close to 400 people gathered for the annual Diocesan Youth Day held this year at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Yucaipa on Aug. 22. This year the youth day rally focused on Catholic identity with the theme “Who Am I?” and offered programing for both high school and middle school aged youth.

 This year Youth Day was shortened from an overnight event to a one-day rally. Wishing to offer something for younger teenagers, the modified Youth Day introduced a two track system.

YUCAIPA—Youth will explore their identity and faith journey at the annual Diocesan Youth Day on Aug. 23 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Yucaipa.

 This year the Diocesan Youth Day will be a one-day event offering activities for middle school (ages 11 – 13) and high school (ages 14-18) youth.  

 Father Manny Cardoza, administrator at Our Lady of Hope Parish, San Bernardino will be the keynote speaker, speaking on the day’s theme “Who Am I?”

SAN BERNARDINO—Dr. James Brennan, President of Aquinas High School, asked the Knights of Columbus, Council 4488, San Bernardino for assistance in remodeling the school’s chapel. The Knights stepped up and accepted the challenge.
