Our historic connection to his Diocese makes this appointment especially joyful for us. Let us ask God to guide Bishop McElroy as he begins this new chapter in ministry and grant him wisdom and strength in a new arena of Church leadership.
I have appreciated and benefited from Bishop McElroy’s leadership and mentorship in my time as Bishop of San Bernardino.
