SAN BERNARDINO—On July 23, more than 200 people joined Father Manny Cardoza as he celebrated Mass in front of the Family Planning Associates abortion center in San Bernardino.

 Fr. Cardoza responded to the call of Pope Francis “to step out of the rectory and smell like the sheep.”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA—Bishop Gerald R. Barnes celebrated the Coordinator of Ministries Formation Program (CMFP) Graduation Mass on Aug. 20 at Sacred Heart Parish, Rancho Cucamonga, honoring participants who completed one of the flagship programs of the Diocese. 

 With the Bishops of California formally endorsing Proposition 62, the California ballot measure that would abolish the death penalty, the Diocesan Office of Restorative Justice will offer information sessions on the issue throughout September and October.
