COLTON—It is not customary to greet the burial of 1,100 people in a cemetery as good news but in assessing the first ten years of Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery it can be seen as a sign that there is, indeed, a strong desire among local Catholics to be buried in consecrated ground.
Ordination date for Tripp, Dang approaches

SAN BERNARDINO–In a few short weeks, Johnny Dang and Tyler Tripp will enter Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino to be ordained priests of the Diocese of San Bernardino. As May 29 nears, both are eager to complete their formal studies and begin their priestly ministry.

This year about 5,500 youth will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at parishes throughout the Diocese.
Parish leaders encourage youth to remain active in the parish by joining parish ministries. Though youth run the risk of drifting from the Church as they get older, youth often times remain active by joining service and youth ministries.

Two years later he has published “Eco y palabra del pensamiento,” a collection of poetry that reflects on the every day blessings of life.
