When a person is lost to a sudden death, we find ourselves ill prepared to deal with the conflicting emotions of grief which arise. Only, it is not just families affected by loss. There is a powerful ripple effect that impacts many people and every encounter of the loss leaves a memory of sadness and other powerful emotions.
In honor of his 50th year as a priest and in thanks for his episcopal service to the Diocese, Auxiliary Bishop Rutilio del Riego will be one of three recipients of the Amar Es Entregarse Award at the 16th Annual Bishop’s Dinner on April 11.

RIALTO—Reflecting on the theme “We Are One Family Under God,” families representing several cultural and ethnic groups present in the Diocese entered the church in a procession at the 9th Annual Migration Mass on Jan. 11 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Rialto.
