On Feb. 12, Bishop Alberto Rojas celebrated the Rite of Candidacy Mass at Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, Texas. At the Mass three of our diocesan seminarians (Julian Plascencia Gomez, Alfredo Ledesma and Thomas Davis) were admitted as candidates for Holy Orders. Being accepted as a candidate means our Bishop has approved them to continue their studies, and they publicly announced during the Mass their intention to be ordained to the priesthood.
