Bishop Alberto Rojas will serve as the spiritual director and leader of a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and other holy sites in Mexico this summer from July 23 to 29. Bishop Rojas had originally planned to lead a similar pilgrimage last summer, but he was unable to do so due to contracting COVID-19 shortly before the pilgrimage was scheduled to begin.

Aside from the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the pilgrimage will see spiritual and cultural sites such as the Shrine of Our Lady of Ocotlan, the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City, the UNESCO World Heritage city Puebla de Los Angeles, the Shrine of Blessed Miguel Pro, Tulpetlac (where Juan Diego’s uncle was cured), and more.

The pilgrimage will have both an English-speaking and a Spanish-speaking guide, and is being organized by the Catholic Travel Centre. Initial registration is March 1, and you can inquire if there is still space available after that date as well.
