For the first time, the Diocese of San Bernardino celebrated its Patron Saint’s Feast Day with its very own relic of Saint Bernardine of Siena. The day began with morning Mass and veneration of the relic at St. Bernardine Church in San Bernardino, followed by public veneration at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino. To conclude the evening, over 60 outstanding volunteers, employees and youth were honored with Diocesan Awards. Adult parishioners or civic community members were presented with the Our Lady of Guadalupe Award, church employees were presented the St. Bernardine Award, and Catholic youths were presented the St. John Paul II Youth Award.
