On January 4, the Indonesian Catholic communities from the Diocese of San Bernardino and the Diocese of Orange gathered at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Loma Linda for a joyous celebration. The heartfelt Mass was celebrated by Father Angelo Battista, MSC, and meaningfully concelebrated by six esteemed Indonesian priests, creating a spiritually enriching atmosphere. The event drew 100 attendees from the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles, all of whom came together as families and friends. They embraced the occasion by sharing a variety of traditional Indonesian cuisine and engaging in lively songs. The air was filled with joy and laughter as the bonds of community were strengthened and the Catholic faith was lovingly nurtured.
