SAN BERNARDINO—In supporting and serving the Small Faith Communities in our diocese we are always looking for new ways to build relationships, not only amongst the communities in our parishes, but communities around the world. As we began to prepare for the season of Lent late last year, the opportunity for an exciting new collaboration came knocking at our door.
SAN BERNARDINO—After being presented with a document that summarizes principals the state of Utah has established to guide its immigration discussion, Sister Sarah Shrewsbury felt compelled to bring it to the diocese.

SAN FRANCISCO—January 2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decisions that legalized abortion in the U.S.for any reason throughout the nine months of pregnancy. To mark this decision, the Ninth Annual West Coast Walk for Life will take place in San Francisco.
