CHINO HILLS—When more than 2,500 of the Catholic faithful gathered at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Chino Hills on Feb. 24 to welcome Coadjutor Bishop Alberto Rojas to the Diocese there was a sense of both history and possibility in the air.

SAN BERNARDINO—Parish leaders and staff members from every corner of the Diocese will converge on the Diocesan Pastoral Center Feb. 13 and Feb. 18 for a meeting that is part update, part reflection and, this year, part introduction.

SAN BERNARDINO—The Bishop’s Dinner turns 20 this year and the occasion will be marked with the honoring of five recipients of the Amar Es Entregarse Award.

 Bishop Gerald Barnes in a letter is encouraging parish communities of the Diocese to facilitate participation in the 2020 Census.

 The San Bernardino Diocese Area of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (EOHSJ) joined in celebration with the remainder of the Order’s Western Lieutenancy during the annual meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona last Fall.
