April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

 As an active participant in my parish, I have primarily ministered to and with adults and sometimes minors. Some of these people were survivors of abuse or those falsely accused of abuse. And there were a few people who, as it turned out, were abusers, not victims of sexual abuse. Appropriately, Safe Environment training has been an important part of my ministerial preparation.
