The group then continued on to two abortion clinics located within walking distance of the Resource Center where they prayed a bilingual Rosary to end abortions and to uphold the dignity of life from life’s very conception.
“We are so blessed in our faith and what a wonderful way to put our faith into action,” said Kathleen Estrella, Director of Parish Music, Youth Confirmation and Youth Ministries at OLA. “It was Mary’s yes that gave Christ His first home and shelter on earth; in His mother’s womb. Our humanity hinted that we understood the sanctity of the womb. But it was Christ’s presence in His mother’s womb that set His seal of holiness on this vessel of life forevermore.”
Estrella said it was the first time a Catholic group was asked to lead the event.
