On Dec. 7, the Office of Catholic Schools in coordination with the Office of Mission Advancement hosted the 21st Annual Bishop’s Golf Classic at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont. This year’s event helped raise money for Catholic Schools to help benefit individual schools, the Catholic Schools Endowment and emergency funds supporting our Catholic elementary and high school students. This year’s Golf Classic welcomed over 250 golfers and 300 guests for dinner.

The event began in the early morning with Bishop Alberto Rojas and participating golfers taking to the course for a round of golf. The serene landscape with the surrounding trees and mountain ridge, combined with the generosity of those sponsoring the event, made for a joyous occasion. The event included an evening gala with several items up for bid including Dodger memorabilia, 3-night getaway at Rancho Las Palmas Resort, and dinner and a cooking class with Bishop Rojas for eight guests at St. Junipero Serra House. In addition, a family from St. Thomas School in Riverside won a 2023 Rav4 Hybrid XLE in the annual car raffle for the event.
