Never Forget- School honors parishioner who died in 9/11 attacks

Every year, St. Theresa Church in Palm Springs honors the life of Barbara Keating, former parishioner, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. This year on 9/11, St. Theresa parish and school celebrated a special Mass in Keating’s honor. The parish pastor, Father John Kavcak, M.S.C., reflected on Keating’s radiant smile and reminded those in attendance of the gift of sharing their own smiles freely. The school’s kindergarten students also learned about 9/11 and about Keating’s legacy at the parish. According to a post on the school’s Facebook account, “We remembered Barbara in a special way today, honoring her life and the light she brought to others.”
