The diocese has entered the season of Confirmation for its parish and school children of Catechetical age (17 years and younger). One of the first groups of young people to receive their Sacrament of Confirmation was from Palm Desert Xavier College Preparatory High School on April 16. Bishop Alberto Rojas presided over the Confirmation Mass celebrated at Sacred Heart Parish in Palm Desert. According to the school’s Facebook post, “offering Confirmation preparation at Xavier has been a work in progress for years, and we could not be more grateful to all who made it possible!” Confirmation Masses will continue to be celebrated at parishes and schools now through May 2026 and one on June 27.
