SAN BERNARDINO—Powered by team wins in the Super Quiz and Logic Quiz competitions, Sacred Heart Academy won first place in the 2016 Junior High Academic Decathlon held at Aquinas High School on March 5.

SACRAMENTO—For the third year in a row, the Diocese of San Bernardino took a select group of students to Sacramento to participate in Catholic Youth Lobby Day. The students came from Corpus Christi Parish in Corona, St. Louis Parish in Cathedral City, and Notre Dame High School in Riverside.

REDLANDS—The fifth graders from Mrs. Kathy Lawson’s class at Sacred Heart Academy in Redlands participated in the Charlotte Huck Children’s Literature Festival held at the University of Redlands February 26-27.

REDLANDS—Pancakes and pajamas were the highlights of Thursday during Catholic Schools Week at Sacred Heart Academy in Redlands last month.
Thursday was Student Appreciation Day, and not only was the entire school allowed to wear pajamas, pancakes were served up from 9-10:30.
