About My Class: Cooperative learning powers first graders at St. Peter and St. Paul

The weather may be cooling off, but the enthusiasm of the first grade students at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Catholic School certainly is not!
Each day I am blessed to teach students who come to school eager to learn, ready to explore the world around them and, most importantly, excited to have the opportunity to grow closer to God.
Aquinas hosts first annual athletic hall of fame induction ceremony

SAN BERNARDINO—October 24 marked the 60th year celebration of the Aquinas High School homecoming dance.
But it was not only the current students that had something to celebrate, but also those who had graduated many years ago as Aquinas kicked off the first annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Sacred Heart School, Rancho Cucamonga marks golden anniversary
RANCHO CUCAMONGA—On September 13, 1965, with the help of Father Frances Horvath, the Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King opened Anton Martin Slomsleck School in honor of the saintly bishop.
The sisters were dedicated to spreading the gospel message and with just 58 students, began teaching children in the area. In 1966 the enrollment had grown to 136 students. In 1969, the first class graduated. In 1983, the Sisters of St. Francis were replaced by the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
