 He attended Emory Elementary School and Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach; Southwestern Junior College and San Diego State Univerity; and Kearney State College in Nebraska.

 Answering the call to the priesthood, Fr. Moore attended St. Francis Seminary, San Diego, Josephinum Theologate, Worthington, Ohio and St. John’s University, School of Divinity, Collegeville, Minnesota graduating with a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Theology.

 He was ordained to the priesthood on August 24, 1974 for the Diocese of San Diego by Most Rev. Leo T. Maher at St. Rose of Lima Parish, Chula Vista, where he had served as a deacon.

 Following his ordination, Fr. Moore began his priestly ministry at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, San Diego. Upon the establishment of the Diocese of San Bernardino, he served as associate pastor at St. Theresa Parish, Palm Springs, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Riverside, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Indio and as hospital chaplain at San Antonio Hospital, Upland and at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda.

 He also served as pastor at St. Anne Parish, Running Springs, parochial vicar at St. James the Less Parish, Perris and Blessed Sacrament, Twentynine Palms. He retired in 2006.

 Mass of Resurrection was on May 16 at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, San Bernardino with burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Colton
