The main speaker was Father Don Calloway from the Marians of the Immaculate Conception.  He is a world-renown conference speaker on Divine Mercy and speaks passionately about these topics in his moving conversion story, No Turning Back: A Witness to Mercy.   He also authored Under the Mantle: Marian Thoughts from a 21st Century Priest and newly released Rosary Gems.  At the conference he spoke about Divine Mercy and our Blessed Mother Mary, inspiring people and touching their hearts with details never before heard about the Mother of Jesus.

Also speaking was Dr. Bryan Thatcher, who is the founder of the Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy.  Thatcher authored the Cenacles of Divine Mercy.  He shared his story of conversion from being a successful doctor to giving up a career in medicine to spend his life dedicated to the message Divine Mercy.  Music was provided by singer Donna Cori Gibson, a lay Carmelite, who moved everyone with her magnificent voice and original songs about Divine Mercy and Our Blessed Mother.

Many people stated that this conference changed their lives as they gained insight into the extent of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His great suffering for all of us.  They learned about His ongoing love for us through His Divine Mercy and were brought closer to Him.  The conference ended with Gibson leading everyone in singing the Divine Mercy Chaplet, which brought everyone to tears.  People are already eagerly anticipating the Hemet Vicariate’s third Divine Mercy Conference next year, which will celebrate Pope Francis’ Jubilee Year of Mercy.   The date of the conference and speakers will be announced in the near future.
