SAN BERNARDINO—Parishes throughout the Diocese have begun their annual Diocesan Development Fund (DDF) appeal which supports the various ministries of the Diocese.
The 2018 campaign, “We Are One” focuses on four key areas of appeal-funded ministries. They are:
Serving families - Diocesan ministries that support family life and encompass spiritual formation such as the Office of Catholic Schools, Ministry to Young Catholics and hospital chaplains.
Strengthening parishes - Diocesan ministries that provide formation and resources to the parish such as the Office of Worship, Ministry Formation Institute and Catechetical Ministry.
Caring for our priests and seminarians - Diocesan ministries that provide faith formation and leadership training for our clergy and the education of future priests such as Serra House of Formation and the Office of Continuing Education of Priests.
Serving the poor - Diocesan ministries that care for the most vulnerable members of God’s family such as Catholic Charities and the Office of Restorative Justice.
Each parish is given a financial goal for the DDF Campaign and any monies raised over that amount go back to the parish.
To contribute to the DDF please contact your parish or the Office of Mission Advancement, (909) 475-5460.
