RIVERSIDE—The violence and injustice plaguing Mexico may be occurring thousands of miles away, but Roman Catholics in the Diocese of San Bernardino and throughout America should be concerned about it and speaking out to stop it.

RIALTO—Reflecting on the theme “We Are One Family Under God,” families representing several cultural and ethnic groups present in the Diocese entered the church in a procession at the 9th Annual Migration Mass on Jan. 11 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Rialto.
SAN BERNARDINO—On January 17, Catholic Charities in partnership with Dignity Health’s Community Hospital of San Bernardino and St. Bernardine Medical Center co-hosted a free health care enrollment event to assist uninsured families with enrollment in Covered California private health insurance plans and Medi-Cal. The event took place from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm in the Henderson Auditorium located at Community Hospital in San Bernardino.

MORENO VALLEY—Cursillistas from the Diocese of San Bernardino gathered at St. Christopher, Moreno Valley to celebrate their annual Multicultural Mass on Jan. 24. Auxiliary Bishop Rutilio del Riego, main celebrant of the Mass, encouraged them to celebrate their faith by sharing it with joy to all they meet.
Father Joseph E Poulin L.C. of Hemet was among 35 young men ordained to priesthood in the Legionaries of Christ on December 13.
