NORCO—When Christina Daniels heard her parish was looking for new ways of raising funds, she thought a Vendor Fair might be just the thing.
Starting in March, St. Mel Parish, Norco began holding a monthly vendor fair on the second Sunday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The first event drew large crowds throughout the day. Subsequent fairs have brought similar crowds. What began as a fundraising event has turned out to be a social gathering for parishioners.
BARSTOW—Coinciding with St. Joseph’s 100th Anniversary celebration, the City of Barstow dedicated a portion of Mountain View Street in honor of three deacons who have served the parish and greater community for a combined 100 years.
