PALM DESERT—Genna Wienecke, a senior and member of the girls’ basketball team at Xavier Preparatory High School, Palm Desert, was recently named a 2022 Heisman High School Scholarship School Winner. The Heisman High School Scholarship is a national scholarship that honors high school senior student athletes who excel in the classroom, on the field and within their communities.
