First Grade Teacher
St. Thomas the Apostle School
RIVERSIDE—I am the first grade teacher of 19 excited, wide-eyed students of St. Thomas School. I attended St. Thomas as a student, and now I am back as a teacher. I try to infuse ideas and morals that I was taught as a student to help build my students’ Catholic identity. Being able to teach these students to be followers of God has been a very rewarding experience.
SAN BERNARDINO—The Our Lady of the Assumption School cheerleaders attended their first competition on January 30th. Dressed in the school colors of blue and gold, 14 girls in the 5th through 8th grade made up the small but dynamic team whose determination and team spirit had the judges and the crowd cheering.
