He served at a wide variety of parishes in both the Diocese of San Diego and later in the Diocese of San Bernardino. In the San Bernardino Diocese he served at San Salvador, Colton (1966 to 1968); Our Lady of Guadalupe, Highgrove (1972 to 1981); Our Lady of the Rosary, San Bernardino (1982 to 1983); Our Lady of the Lake, Lake Arrowhead (1983 to 1984); St. Anne in the Mountains, Running Springs (1984 to 1985) and his final assignment was as Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Palm Springs from 1985 until his retirement from full-time parish ministry in 1998.
