Bishop Barnes reminds us that The Big Picture of Mercy, our theme for this year’s DDF Annual Appeal, “reveals a group of broken people, united by grace, who are passionately trying to live out Jesus’ call in everything they do.” How are we living out Jesus’ call? Are we: visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and giving a sacrificial gift?

Last year we received sacrificial gifts that total $5 million. With the gifts we received we were able to help our brothers and sisters in our community through five different ministries: seminarian formation (in the amount of $1.1 million), outreach to those in need (in the amount of $1.8 million), land for future churches (in the amount of $850,000), support for priests (in the amount of $639,000) and education for our children (in the amount of $1.9 million). We thank you.

We invite you to continue your support. For those who have not yet made their commitment to advance these causes we invite you to live out Jesus’ call by making a pledge on behalf of your parish.
