Vietnamese Marriage Encounter celebrates Mass

On the Feast of the Holy Family, Dec. 28, the Vietnamese Marriage Encounter ministry celebrated a Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Riverside. Father Timothy Do, a chaplain to the Vietnamese Catholic communities of the diocese, presided over the Mass, which was Concelebrated by two other Vietnamese priests. Tiffany and Tan Nguyen Tran, the couple who lead the ministry group, said there are approximately 50 Vietnamese couples involved in the ministry. They regularly hold prayer gatherings and retreats to strengthen marriage. A reception followed with Vietnamese cuisine, singing and greetings.
