SAN JOSE—A few weeks ago I attended a week long conference in San Jose with the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions (FDLC) where our Bishop Gerald Barnes was the keynote speaker. BEAUMONT—Representatives from Morongo, Santa Rosa and other tribes in the diocese joined parishioners from Banning and Beaumont in celebrating the canonization of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the parish’s namesake with a Mass and reception on Nov. 3.
