In the Mission Office we are settling into our familiar routines in a different building. We are now located in the Rezek Center, which is the former convent of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word, next to St. Bernardine Hospital. SAN BERNARDINO—Sister Rebecca Zapien has been a teacher for most of her life. She continues her passion for promoting education and faith formation in her new role as the program coordinator for the Ministry Formation Institute’s Spanish Coordinator of Ministries Formation Program (CMFP).
VICTORVILLE—Victorville City Council Member Angela Valles stood in the strong desert sun describing the moment that she, as a 16-year-old, revealed to her Catholic parents that she was pregnant.
