On Dec. 10, St. Hyacinth Academy in San Jacinto celebrated a special ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of several campus upgrades. The upgrades included a complete asphalt replacement, repainted exterior, and campus electrical upgrades that included all new LED lighting. The upgrades were funded by a generous donation from Shea Properties. The Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools, San Jacinto Mayor Crystal Ruiz, and the Soboba Foundation President and Tribal Council members attended the ceremony. The event also included special song performances by a student choir,  and a presention of plaques by the Student Council to Shea Properties. Father Cletus Imo, Pastor of St. Anthony parish in San Jacinto, cut the ceremonial ribbon and Parochial Vicar Father Byrant Rivas blessed the parking lot with Holy Water.
