Eligible residents can receive free immigration services from Catholic Charities, including screening, completed application, mailing, and follow up with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). For the past 35 years, Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services has offered free and low-cost immigration consultations and services throughout the Diocese of San Bernardino. Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)-accredited staff have extensive experience helping non-citizens navigate an array of complex and lengthy immigration application processes.

 For hundreds of local Catholics, October 1 was a memorable day of faith, prayer and reconciliation as they gathered for a Year of Mercy Pilgrimage to all seven Holy Doors of Mercy in the Diocese. 

SAN BERNARDINO—When Pope Francis declared an Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy in June of 2015 he decreed that it would begin on the first Sunday of Advent, November 29, 2015, and conclude the following year on the Feast of Christ the King, November 20, 2016.

TUCSON, AZ—Recently the Knights and Ladies of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem from the Diocese of San Bernardino convened in Tucson, Arizona for their annual meeting. 

 For many years, the Diocesan Ministry to Families of Gay & Lesbian Catholics (MFGLC) has regularly visited parishes throughout our Diocese to minister to the many Catholics who have a loved one, often a child, who identifies as gay or lesbian.
