It is Lent, and our Diocese once again is spiritually journeying toward the Holy Triduum when we celebrate the death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Missionary Disciples have also continued their journey in the process of the V Encuentro.

Sr. Patricia Phillips, a Sister of the Holy Child Jesus, was born in Hannibal, Missouri—like Mark Twain! She received her education in Waukegan, Illinois, where she came to know the Sisters and was attracted to the Community by their joyful spirit and hospitality.
As the 2018 Diocesan Development fund Campaign enters its early months comes news that last year’s DDF effort exceeded several markers for success.
While it remains the second youngest in California, the Diocese of San Bernardino reaches a significant milestone in 2018 with the celebration of its 40th Anniversary.
After a year’s hiatus to make room for the festivities surrounding Bishop Gerald Barnes’ 25 Episcopal Anniversary, the Annual Bishop’s Dinner will return to the Diocese on Saturday, April 7.
