VICTORVILLE—On a day when tens of thousands of Americans took to the streets to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policy at the nation’s southern border, Catholic faithful from the Diocese took part in a demonstration just outside a federal detention center in Victorville that is now being used to house those suspected of being in the country without documentation.
The statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be touring the Diocese this August.
Today’s youth will be the leaders of tomorrow. Pope Francis calls us to accompany the youth in their vocational discernment and life journey. It is within the mission of the Ministry with Young Catholics to provide opportunities for young people to discover their God given potential and use their gifts and talents to build the kingdom of God in their communities.
