CATHEDRAL CITY—Following the success of his first poetry book, “Amar con Sabiduria es Saber Volar,” Father Luis Guido began working on his next collection of poetry.
Two years later he has published “Eco y palabra del pensamiento,” a collection of poetry that reflects on the every day blessings of life.
In the month of March, the Diocese of San Bernardino was invited by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to be part of a delegation of five members going to an Exposure Trip to the Philippines.
MURRIETA—The Hemet Vicariate held its second Divine Mercy Conference at St. Martha Parish in Murrieta on April 18. The conference was organized by the Divine Mercy Ministry at St. Martha’s and was a great success with over 600 people in attendance.
BEAUMONT–Filipino Catholics from the Diocese gathered at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish’s Beaumont site to celebrate the Feast of St. Pedro Calungsod on April 25.
SACRAMENTO—Catholic Advocacy Day had an added element of urgency this year as the California Legislature is considering a bill that would legalize doctor-prescribed suicide.
